See possibilities everywhere

Hello creative friends!

Today I want to share with you another view on projects that you can create with Calico Craft wooden shapes. I was inspired to work on a new Art Journal  page in a natural vintage and grunge style. I love it to combine materials of different structures and textures.

Here I used dryed flowers and leaves, paper and fabric leftovers, stamps and stencils, distress inks and for a vibrant 3D effect some wooden shapes.

I hope I could inspire you to think out of the box, there is a lot of possibilities what you can do with the very wide range
 of Calico Craft products.

My  teamies at Calico Craft Parts have come up with many

inspiring and different versions
what you can do with this wooden shapes.

We are looking forward to see your new creations!

  Happy Crafting!

# Curious for Scrap FX

Hello friends!

I was inspired to create a new Junk Journal.
That's the first pages in steampunk style with one of my favourite theme 'Under the SEA'.

I was in love with this amazing seahorse, so many details and very filigree, a beautiful black contrast, that looks like a silhouette. I added some mini cogs too, painted with some acrylic rust colours from DecoArt.

  • a mixed media page, where I used the stencil Continuous chain with texture paste a grunge element on the left side
  •  Coral stamp one of my favourite background stamps, is always very suitable for nautical projects
  • chipboard 'Suspendid Time' was cut into several parts, I used a gorgeous embossing powder 'Hammered Metal'

GD Calico Craft Parts Minialbum 'FantaSea'

Hello everyone!

I want to share with you some pages from my new Minialbum ''FantaSEA''.
Although it's still spring, we are already having summer temperatures here and it's also very dry. This makes me long for a fresh sea breeze at the beach, holding a shell  to my ear, closing my eyes and making the sea rustle in my mind. Absolutely beautiful and relaxing!

For the cover of my Mini-album I wanted to try a new combination. I crocheted some marine motifs and sewed them on the fabric envelope.

There are a lot of beautiful things which you can use on small projects like cards, tags, or ATC's.
I have discovered my enthusiasm for junk journals at the moment. With these you can combine and collect so many beautiful and beloved things. I love it because you can collect memorabilia and also try techniques and products.

You leaf through it again and again and you can always take it with you
to quickly show friends what you love doing.

more details can you find here

You can see I have used both, the possibility to leave
the MDF parts untreated, as well as to paint them.

This project was so much fun to create and I love the scene that you can build up,
using all the mini wooden shapes.
I think that wasn't my last journal page with these parts :-)!

I want to share this nautical spread

I love the transparencies from Scrap FX because you see always your background and it gives a very good contrast on your page. In the lower right part I have incorporated a bag where you can put photos and other memorabilia into it.

beside this very cool saying I also used a letter fromBandana Alphabet
A wie AIM

I added a clock hand to the Barbwire border (without wire) with a brad,
so you can use it as attachment for notepad,
